All Aboard The Spirit of Tasmania

May182011

Giant Australia has just held a successful two day demo in Tasmania over the weekend of the 14th and 15th of May. Over 20 Giant Maestro bikes packed into a Jayco trailer attached to a new Toyota FJ Cruiser made the overnight trip on the Spirit of Tasmania and after a few hours driving from Devonport the convey arrived in Hobart.

The first demo took place on Saturday at Glenorchy under cloudy skies and was run in conjunction with two Hobart dealers, Mcbain Cycles and Treadlies. The light rain and cold weather didn't deter consumers as they were given the opportunity to take a range of Giant Maestro bikes out onto the Glenorchy Mountain Bike park trails. Riders were also treated to a BBQ lunch as well as other giveaways.

After a couple of days in Hobart the Toyota FJ Cruiser and Jayco trailer headed up the highway to Launceston for the second demo. It was held at Trevallyn Village Green with assistance from both Geard and Derrico Cycles. Again riders were given the chance to take out a full range of Maestro bikes out onto the fun singletrack in the surrounding area. Many riders took out several bikes to help assist their decision in purchasing a new bike.

Giant would like to thank all the dealers for their assistance and everyone who came along and helped made the weekend a memorable one, see you next time!
