De Grandi + Giant MTB demo day

Feb072012

Just this past weekend Giant Bicycles Australia held a mountain bike demo day at the popular You Yangs recreational park in conjunction with De Grandi Cycle & Sport in Geelong. The day started off with threatening rain but it stayed dry for most of the day, it was however extremely windy but the sun stayed out for most of the day's proceedings.

Despite the conditions we had a great turnout with people across all ages trying out the latest 2012 Off-Road Performance mountain bikes including Trance X 0's Anthem X 29er 0 & Anthem X 29er 1's, Anthem X 1 W's, Trance X W's and XTC 29er 0 models.

Once signed on our friendly staff went about setting each rider up to their bike of choice including checking tire pressures, suspension settings and of course seatpost height. The riders were then free to take out the bikes for a 45 minute ride or longer on the challenging You Yang trails of their choosing. There were plenty of smiles upon returning and then a cold drink and BBQ lunch was on offer for those who stuck around.

Thanks again to everyone who came along and made the day a great success, especially the staff from De Grandi Cycle & Sport.
