Giant sponsored athlete Matt Burton was recently crowned 18-24 age group World Champion at Kona Ironman on Saturday the 8th of October. Matt completed the gruelling Ironman Triathlon in Hawaii in a time of 9 hours 9minutes. Channel 10 in Perth caught up with Matt to interview him about the experience of becoming an Ironman champion as well as finding out what his future goals in the sport are.

Currently Matt still competes in the age group ranks with a goal to move into the Elite category over the next 12 months or so. He rides a Trinity Advanced SL time trial bike in the long course events and has boasted some very impressive times. Check out the interview below to find out what Matt had to say..
