Ride with Bling!

On Wednesday the 19th of October Giant Bicycles Australia setup a ride with Michael "Bling" Matthews who is visiting Melbourne after his first elite year racing for the Giant sponsored Rabobank cycling team in Europe. The Canberra local flew down to Melbourne to say hi to the guys from Giant and to go for a ride with a few of the crew.

We held a competition on our facebook page for 8 people to come along for a ride with Bling down Beach Road and they were super happy to meet and have a chat with him. Also coming along for the ride was ex Wallabies player Matt Cockbain who now helps out with the RaboDirect Melbourne Rebels rugby team.

Bling will be racing the Criterium at the Noosa Tri next week and then has a bit of rest before training begins for the National Australian Road Race and Tour Down Under early next year, we'll be gunning for him at those events when he jumps on board his new Giant TCR Advanced SL Rabobank.
