7 days off the bike with a back injury, hope to get the all ok from the Physio tomorrow.

Completed the Inaugral ride 4 epilepsy yesterday and double my persomnal best distance. Very Happy and can't wait to do it again next year

Did three k's with each of the kids today. At bed tonight they said the best thing about the holiday is the ride with dad each day. Ah, that's sweet, especially as I'm competing with DS and movies. Brown nosers ;)

yes my wife has just joined a choir so I can get on the computer and look and talk bikes. Yah. Roll on Monday nights!

Did the Back Yamma Big Foot 100km race yesterday. It was mostly flat, which was nice, but as there was no up hilss, there was little down hills, so it was all peddling, no coasting. It was a fun event and certainly tough enough. The big foot walking around the campsite on Saturday night was golden.

Has just been a confirmed starter in the Vault Crit in Brisbane 6th November. Going to be a tough weekend. Friday night Race in Newcastle, Saturday morning Crit in Brisbane, catch up with friends Saturday and then the Vault Crit Sunday morning then drive back to Newcastle Sunday afternoon.

Hi all. Bad news. My beautiful Cross City 1 was stolen on Thursday evening. She was locked up on the bike rack outside the gym where I work. They cut through the lock and threw my helmet on the ground. Was reported to police as someone saw it, but no one was able to take chase. So when I came out of the club at 8:30 she was gone. Felt philosophical about it on Thursday night, but now when I am faced with the reality, I miss my bike like crazy. So, if anyone sees her ... seriously, if you are in Hobart and browsing Cash Converters or someplace, please keep and eye out. Thanks guys!

Went for a ride to Wynnum (bayside). Now have to begin the pre-wash of the modern cloth nappies. They have to be washed 6 times before they are even worn!

Well even though I love riding, I have not ridden for some time now. This is not what I want but what I have at the moment. So spare a thought as you are triumphing over gravity forging up that long steep climb or feeling the wind rushing past as you speed down the decent.

Been back at work for 2 week now and after 6 weeks leave wish I was back there. Did very little riding over that time as I had problems with the bike, but now all is good,just have to get all the xmas storage on and do some km's to reduce the storage area. Hope everyone had a great xmas and safe new year.

Two weeks to go and still on my bike - never thought I'd make it this long. Amazing that I can bike 1-2k to get the kids to and from school with no problem whereas walking 100 metres kicks my butt. And while icy, wet hands are no fun, it's still better than trying to find a parking spot.
