Initially it was just Rando and I. As we'd finished the sweep of Blood Rock and Snake Gully John turned up. Rather than keep Jared from getting an early start for his trip to the coast we decided to go for a ride over the double diamond trail. It is beyond my skill but something different and a nice view.

After the little guys birthday cake on Sunday we, the old guy and the 3 U/16's went over to Stromlo. 1:48:01 29.63km and only 1478 Kcal. I didn't even use up the cake and ice cream!!!!

Today while out for a ride i think i've finally found my favorite track, Party line. It's the smoothest piece of track that i've found, you can just fly down it.

When: Friday 30 Sep - Monday 03 Oct
Where: Manna Park, Merimbula
Who: Male CORC members over 40 years
$350 pp - limit of 15 riders

Paul Cole is a legend. I have met him a number times out at Sparrow. I joined CORC this year and did my first club race a few months back. Gee it is a top field and great way to get some top end trainning in. I am planning to have a crack at the three hour in prep for the Scott. Will pencil in the 27 November race. Love the Sunday morning idea. Great to get a ride in and spend the rest of the day with the fam.

This is the last XC race for a couple of months with the 3hr in September and the Scott in October. Next race is planned for Sunday 27 November when we'll be back to the morning starts. The course will be put together by Paul Cole out at Orchard Road. Keep an eye on the events calendar and I'll have the full details up as soon as possible.
