HTC Highroad to disband!! Where will Renshaw and Goss go? Possibly Green Edge with Stewy and Robbie looking quite good. Food for thought

It was announced yesterday that Cadel signed with BMC for another three years, which will see out his riding career.
Well done to Cadel and good luck!

Anyone has ever done a tour to follow a big Tour? In a campervan or as part of an organised group - would you like to share the experience?

BMC has made the move to sure up Cadel for the rest of his career. Whether or not this is gospel not sure but this came through Ligget during the TDF this year, it is possible that his part-time overseas life will cause an issue with the Gree Edge schedule in regards to training together. I would believe he would still require altitude training to defend the TDF and gain further acclaim through other wins. He is an extrordinarily talented rider and I believe he has one or even two more podiums in the TDF left. But I will be honest it would be nice to see a great Australian rider head an all-Aussie team. Richie Porte is looking to be quite solid in the hills in the future. Youth is in his side and Saxo Bank to me this year looked like a group put together quickly? I think Gerrains would be one good option also.
Go Cadel and Go Aussie.

It was definately a much better team with Cadel this year, much more discipline and teamwork. But for a first season Leopard-Trek are certainly a very well oiled machine. With Steuey in the engine room it helps a lot. A team to watch.

Team BMC looked the the goods the whole way thru but Cadel in the alps i agree was out standing dragging himself and everyone that could keep up with him to the top, But the time trail when cadel was bunning hopping speed humps and going at it like he was on a mountain bike in parts was oarsome a true bike handler that knows the limits of his machine and when he can push it to the edge with out things going wronge one bad hop over he speed hump and his tour was shot

Cadel was simply outstanding in minimalising his losses in the last two stages of the Alps. I think that was where it was really decided. I agree Voeckler deserved to podium but anyone who knows their cycling wont soon forget his efforts. Thor Hushovd still remains my favourite rider.... great combination of speed and strengh

Oh tommy Voeckler...he was like the little engine that could (for ten days) although the French have something to look forward to in Pierre Rolland, he's one to watch.

Yeh I agree...I definately don't mind the Schlecks being up there, they have got the fabulous Stuey O'Grady on side. He is a master and works so hard for that team. I had a few fist shaking CONTADORRRR! (complete with rolled Rs) moments... I do kind of wish that there were 4 places on the podium- like a roll out bed podium for Voeckler-he really deserved a spot i think.

Theres only one Cadel Evans.
although I wouldnt have mind if Andy Shleck won...as long as it wasn't Contador again.
