Back in the saddle for the first time in 3 weeks. Beautiful balmy Brisbane morning - Halfway up the first hill a punk on a Trek carbon TT bike went past me - Leopard Trek jersey, no lights and did not even acknowledge my, 'Good Morning'... So...what was to be an easy roll around the river became a 2 person road race as I determined to show him why Trek will only ever come second. I had him on the flat but he killed me on the hills (20 years is my excuse) but I'll be gunning for him tomorrow - I wonder if a new Giant Trinity or an Advanced SL would have seen him off??
