Had my first bike stack this week. Nothing too nbad just taking a tight corner too quick ! Sprocket marks in the calf and bruisng. Got straight back on and rode to work. My daily commute is getting less of a chore so I must be getting fitter.

A bit battered and bruised after the inaugral Cross Melburn down at Lysterfield Park yesterday. A small but strong field of about 20 riders took on the A grade cyclocross catergory around a course that included a beach section, a climb, stairs, tanbark, mud, a creek crossing, grass and even some jumps. There was an agreed neutral start around the first lap, but once we were past the beach section it was on! I moved my way through the pack onto third wheel, and stayed there for the second lap.
